The Glitter Glide came out of a simple idea in our Sanford shop: take the best blank we make and give it a finish that belongs on the back of a bass boat. Metalflake glitter, hand-laid over a CR8 blank, throwing light at the ramp before you ever make a cast.
And like everything else we do - we did it in-house, start to finish, by American hands.
Under that glitter is a real glide bait stick. 7'8", Medium Heavy power, Moderate Fast action. Enough backbone to move big glides and swimbaits, with a tip that loads up clean.
The blank is our CR8, the highest-end blank technology Cashion builds. Every bit of sensitivity and recovery we know how to engineer, rolled right here in North Carolina.
The grips are a cork and carbon fiber hybrid. Carbon back where you want raw vibration coming straight to your hands. Cork up front where comfort matters on a long day of throwing heavy baits.
The reel seat is an ACS-style design with direct blank contact, so what the blank feels, your hand feels.
We skipped traditional thread wrap and went with air carbon mesh. Lighter, cleaner, and it puts the whole build on display.
Guides are a full titanium double-footed train. Light, strong, and they won't corrode on you.
